 Allow
me to
introduce myself! My
name is Annaquista Pykosz, born November 10, 1986, and I am
the Vermont
artist
behind Flutternut Studios. Art has always been a strong part
of life,
from my early childhood to today. I love drawing, painting, sewing,
beadwork, and most of all sculpting. As a younger artist I am
continually learning and growing with my art. I am obsessed with
quality in my work and never cut corners. I began seriously sculpting
more in early 2006 after stumbling apon One Of A Kind art dolls selling
on
eBay. I had no idea there were collectors for art I had been making
since I was 11! After selling my first item, a tiny flowerpot faerie, I
was thrilled. As an artist it is an amazing and wonderful feeling to
have my artwork appreciated.
My support system is
my family. First
I would like to thank my
mother, also a fabulous artist. Without her support (and
allowing me to
make all those "artistic messes" when I was younger!) I would not be
where I am today artistically. My father, thank you for
every my
computer and technical
need and helping me get this website up and running. To my younger
brother, you are
awesome and have your whole life ahead of you. I know you will be
something great. Finally, to my wonderful fiance, thank you for
supporting and loving me
through everything!
